The best analogy to describe my professional expertise is that of the skipper of a racing sailboat. A skipper has to pick complementary team members who share same goal of excellence, gain their trust, set an efficient organization. He also makes sure the boat has the right balance between technological innovation and reliability. Finally he is at the helm making constant routing decisions to adapt to ever changing weather conditions with one goal in mind: cross the finish line first. Startups are like sailboats. I have a preference for long haul races where your everyday decisions are a trade off between speed and sustainability to position the boat ideally for next weather systems, playing the infinite game. Providing every living being with the environment where they can live happy is the ultimate one.
